At $1.495 million, this new house built by Dave Tilly is an excellent value. I hope that the address will support this price level because, if it does, it will encourage more builders to build like this. The house is super-insulated with soy-based foam, has a computerized HVAC system that should save the owner a pile of money in heating and cooling bills and is, all in all, a very attractive project. Just trying to understand this--Byram Terrace Drive can easily support a $1.5 million house, but Sheephill Lane can't?
I would expect the areas of Riverside north of the Post Road--like Sheephill Road--to be transformed long before Byram/Pemberwick/Chickahominy are.
No arguement from me, I think its a bit of a stretch.
Although, have you been on that street to see the collection of beautiful new homes approx 5 doors down from this one? Someone plopped about 8 or so full sized town houses steps away from this house. Chris, what is the story on this collection of new townhouse units?
