Soon - to -be felon Michael Lauer may have lost his Greenwich house but he's still got a fan following in the financial press. Nothing new here but it must be reassuring to Mr. Lauer that he hasn't entirely disappeared into obscurity. Yet.

Follow the link - Michael Lauer (not Mat) ran a scam that bilked investors out of millions. he's under criminal indictment now and his trial's coming up but in a seperate, SEC civil trial a judge ruled, prior to a hearing (very unusual) that, based on documents alone, Lauer had clearly defrauded his investors. IRS seized his house and auctioned it off for $2.5 million owed for back taxes last month.
